Homework 7/30
Homework: Create an expository brochure about a specific high school in the area.
Use your research from your essay. Keep in mind the purpose is to inform and to
persuade. Your audience is 7th and 8th grade students
deciding what high school they would like to attend. Use the strategies
discussed during class. You should have a small Works Cited section on the back
of your brochure.

Homework: Write your final draft
of your compare and contrast essay. This should include in-text citations and a
Work Cited page. It must be 5-7 well-developed paragraphs. It should be 2-4
pages, in proper MLA formatting. You must submit a typed hard copy in class.
(If you do not have a printer, put on flash drive and print at headquarters office).

research, create the in-text citations for each source used.
Homework for the Weekend: Write the first
draft of your compare and contrast essay. It should be 5-7 well developed
